The guide below is based on City Fish Bar’s current in-store allergen sheet, supplied by the shop. We use Pukka pies and Henry Jones Gold Batter Mix for our fish.
These are the allergens marked on the shop’s sheet. The sheet does not distinguish ingredients from precautionary “may contain” warnings. An allergen not listed here is not confirmed absent; please ask our team to check the current product labels and preparation.

Our Fish Batter
Henry Jones Gold Batter Mix contains wheat (gluten), according to published product information. The shop’s battered-fish entry above also includes the other allergens recorded on its sheet. Please ask us to check the current packaging and explain which entries are ingredients and which are precautionary warnings.
For other dishes marked “cereals containing gluten”, please ask which cereal is present; the photographed sheet does not name individual cereals.
About This Guide
Transcribed from the shop’s allergen sheet supplied on 5 October 2026. The dish names were clarified by the owner, including battered button mushrooms, Pukka chicken pie and Pukka steak pie. Fish is included for battered fish; the photograph’s Fish box was blank. The template’s printed tuna-salad example is not a menu item and is not included.
